Winterlite -42 integrates a hydrophobic, windproof, highly vapor-permeable shell Texped Membrane with high-loft, RDS-certified down and a sculpted hood to combat insidious moisture and extreme temperatures. Expedition-ready and amazingly compact, light and efficient. Please be aware, that the cut is really roomy to fit together with additional liner or equipment. Expedition Sleeping Bags It is an open secret that the EN test only works reliably up to approximately -15°C - -20°C. That's why we only give a temperature recommendation for our thick expedition sleeping bags that has been tested in practice. Factors such as the physical condition, the mattress, the tent and the current weather play a huge role here, which cannot be represented by test results. -42° C can be regarded as an extreme value.Anatomical Footbox: Designed to cradle the feet in uncompressed insulation, this unique footbox eliminates cold spots. Internal baffles form a multi-faceted array of down chambers for extremely efficient heat conservation in this critical area.
