At only a kilo per person, Venus II UL is a remarkably light, comfortable and stable 2-person tent; excellent for extended treks in moderate climate zones. The combination of tunnel and dome tent designs results in a freestanding tent with generous head room and dual entrances. Each occupant has a personal door and vestibule for comfortable access and storage.

versatile: In clear weather, setup the canopy on its own as a lightweight, stargazing shelter. Slide the poles through the elastic loops and set the pole ends into the supplied webbing pockets.

To reduce weight or create basic shelter, setup the rainfly with or without a Footprint...large enough for bicycle repairs or as a shelter during lunch break.

Condensation is kept to a minimum with opposed doors, windows and vents that offer incredible airflow through direct venting and a chimney draft effect.

Quick and easy to pitch thanks to color coded poles that glide into matched, continuous sleeves and easy to use adjustable tension pockets. The flat pole sleeves reduce wind resistance and the double seams increase durability.

Storm proof: Very few stakes are needed for setup. Numerous pre-mounted Dyneema guylines are attached and packed in “Cord Stuffsacks“. Guyline loops attached to the pole sleeve keep Venus II taut and secure, even in the roughest weather.

Easy handling day or night, zippers have color coded, reflective and glow-in-the-dark pulls that can be easily operated with one hand.

Functional layout: Two large vestibules and entrances offer storage spaces that are accessed easily, even from within a sleeping bag. Doors are large enough to allow two adults to sit side by side. Mesh pockets and the pre-mounted gearloft keep personal items within easy reach and organised.
