A benchmark in down sleeping bag design. Low in weight, compressible and easy to pack they offer great all-round performance in a roomier, more generously sized design. Optimised to maximise their performance and with features that would put many rivals more expensive bags to shame, the Classic collection is ideally suited to all-forms of self-supported travel whether backpacking across Europe, trekking in the Himalaya or venturing through South America.
By utilising slanted box-wall baffles throughout the entire main body, meaningful weight is removed from the bag’s structure yet they remain a significant step above a standard box. The addition of a 5 baffle hood and 2 baffle foot piece also maintains a level of down control well beyond many other bags. The overall fill distribution also allows down density to be optimised. Higher densities of fill are favoured in the underside of the bag, the underside of the hood, and the foot piece to maximise thermal efficiency and minimise migration, whereas the collar and zip baffle can make use of lower densities. This serves to improve comfort (as the collar in particular seeks to wrap around the user) and improve warmth, reflecting the lower levels of heat which are lost through the side of bag and allowing higher concentrations of the overall fill to remain within the main body of the bag.
