Aluminium is a lightweight material that conducts heat well. Ouraluminium stove systems spread heat quickly and evenly. This means thatfood does not, for example, burn and stick to the centre of the fryingpan. In addition, the hard surface means that the systems are veryresistant to scratching and wear. Ultralight aluminium is 50 % strongerthan ordinary aluminium. Consequently, less material is required tomanufacture the stove systems. As a result, they are lighter. Besides making our windproof stove systems even more resistant toscratching and wear, hardanodizing is a surface treatment that alsoimproves corrosion resistance. Furthermore, the treatment makes thestove systems easier to clean than untreated stove systems. Theseexcellent properties have led to hardanodized cookware replacing ourTitanium and Duossal ranges. The non-stick coating gives the ideal surface for frying, and requireslittle or no cooking fat. It also makes washing up easier, becausenothing sticks. Non-stick is slightly more susceptible to scratches andabrasion, so use only wooden or plastic utensils. For those who wantlight packs, fuss-free eating and easy washing up. General
